Writing retreat in Montfleur 16-19 October 2012

The project members spent a fantastic week at Montfleur writing, discussing, planning, brainstorming, critiquing, presenting, hiking and eating ...

Most participants worked on papers to be submitted for the BJET special issue on Emerging Technologies, but some also worked on and presented their PHDs, either proposals or work in progress...or other papers they were working on...

Presentation at emerge2012

We wrote a paper for the emerge 2012 online conference on our (never-ending) journey towards a shared understanding of the term "emerging technologies".

This is the powerpoint presentation we created based on the paper. We also had a lively online session around the topic full of ideas on how to define emerging technologies.
